Nina started working with young girls who fell victim to trafficking and street children in the beginning of 2002 through a very small local CSO and jumped ship to disaster response in the end of 2004 for the Indian ocean tsunami response. She also worked with International Organization for Migration, the Red Cross and gained her first landscape program experience with CARE and at which sharpened her focus towards marginalized girls and women. Her work with the Rainforest Alliance previously UTZ started in 2014 as a consultant and in the beginning 2017 started working for the Strategic Partnerships Program.
