Melissa Angel is the communications coordinator for the Global Landscapes Forum, an initiative of CIFOR-ICRAF, and since 2019 has helped lead GLF’s marketing and communications efforts. Melissa Angel is a specialist in communications and behavior change, having worked in the public and private sectors for the past ten years, most notably with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the United Nations Climate Change secretariat. Originally from Florida, she has also spent time in California working with ocean nonprofits on activism and lobbying efforts to shut down the driftnet industry.
