Meerim is an Operations Officer at the World Bank. She is part of the World Bank FIP focal point team, working on the Forest Investment Program (FIP) and the Dedicated Grant mechanism (DGM). Technical interests include NRM, forestry, climate change, community development, satellite remote sensing and earth observation, capacity building, and new financial mechanisms. Meerim holds degrees in Natural Resources Management, Development Studies, and Diplomacy from Virginia Tech, Graduate Institute in Geneva, and Moscow State Institute of International Relations. She is a passionate development practitioner, and always looking for an opportunity for both personal growth and making a difference on other people’s lives.
