Jordan Treakle works in the Rural Institutions and Social Policies (ESP) Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
For the past ten years, he has worked on issues of territorial development, strengthening producer organizations, and rights-based land governance in Africa, South Asia, Europe, and North America.
His academic background is in Rural Sociology, having completed a Master of Science in International Rural Development in the Rural Sociology Group of Wageningen University (The Netherlands). Jordan is currently based in Rome, Italy
