Kennedy Wahome Muthee is a Research Associate working in Sustainable Landscape Governance where he focuses on Ecosystem Based Adaptation. His expertise cuts across climate change mitigation and adaptation and environmental services and has a particular interest in climate change adaptation and mitigation, sustainable development, conservation of the environment, eradication of poverty, and overall improvement of living standards, especially in African context.

Prior to joining ICRAF, Kennedy held various positions in organizations including SEI Africa as a Research Intern, Thinkout Africa leading in Research and Communications, World Vision (Kenya) supporting data quality and data entry for the PM+ project, Africa YMCA supporting communications and youth empowerment projects, and Volunteers For Africa coordinating projects implementation and Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Learning (MERL) process.

Kennedy holds a Masters in Environmental Science and Bachelors in Environmental Planning and Management both from Kenyatta University. Further, he holds various certifications in Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Learning (MERL), Information Technology (IT), Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from various institutions.
