Susanne Wallenoeffer is heading the global programme Forests4Future at GIZ. She has been working on international forest policy issues with a focus on forest landscape restoration and forest finance since 2018. In her current role, she coordinates FLR activities with international partners and across African countries, and advises the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on FLR, forestry and climate issues. Susanne Wallenoeffer has more than 10 years of experience in forest and climate policy with a focus on FLR, REDD+ and financing mechanisms in Asia and Africa.
