Doreen is a social entrepreneur passionate about realizing Africa’s agriculture potential. She advised clients on fund-raising and other matters in the agriculture and consumer goods spaces in New York, Lagos and Abidjan over a ten-year career with top global companies: Ernst & Young and PwC. She then founded The Good Heritage, a B2C venture aimed at making healthy yet underutilized products from Zimbabwe more accessible to global consumers. Her roots in agriculture were planted at a young age when, during school holidays, she helped her mother farm a small piece of rented land to produce food in Zimbabwe where she grew up.

She is a graduate of MIT’s Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, USA and a fellow at the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship also at MIT. She holds a certificate in Sustainability from MIT and is pursuing a professional certificate with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. She is currently offering health coaching services alongside healthy, non-timber forest products through The Good Heritage Zimbabwe operations.
