Workshop: Operationalizing Landscape Approaches for Nature, Development and Sustainability in Ghana and Zambia

Meeting Room 2

Both in science and practice the landscape approach has gained high attention seen as a key method and opportunity to outbalance the different development and conservation needs of stakeholders in a shared landscape. Drawing on cases studies implementing the approach in Zambia, Indonesia and Ghana this engaging workshop invites participants to share their experiences with 3 aspiring young researchers from the region and to explore key processes and instruments for engaging multiple stakeholders in decisions for the better of humans and nature. Together we will draw key lessons on how to better consider landscapes approaches in practice in the future.
