This photo was taken very early in the morning, when sun started rising in a very small village in northeastern Madagascar. Village people were at the river to take a bath or wash their clothes. The mountains around show small spots of forest degradation and landscape converting. The small boats are used to fishing and transport purposes. They are made from single trees, which also causes forest degradation.
