Description

This photo is typical of an African cattle corridor and I took it fro an area called Ngoma which happens to be one of the five municipalities of Nakaseke north, Uganda. The area is largely savannah in vegetation and it has a tropical climate. The picture comprehensively describes pastroralism as the major socio-economic activity carried out and it is this savannah grassland that significantly supports pastoralism thus enabling the communities in the area to survive.
