Waltraud Ederer, Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), is policy advisor for environmental economics in GIZs Sector Project on Soil Rehabilitation, Desertification and Sustainable Land Management and the Economics of Land Degradation (ELD) Initiative. At her prior position at GIZ at the interface of climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction, comprehensive climate risk management and the policy discourse on Loss and Damage built the core of her work. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability Economics and Management.
