Jeroen van Dalen is Knowledge Management officer in the communications unit of the United Nations to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) secretariat. In his work he facilitates and promotes the exchange of data, information and knowledge between UNCCD parties and stakeholders.

He studied Arts and Sciences at Maastricht University in the Netherlands and has worked in online communications and knowledge management for various private sector, non-profits and government organizations.

He joined the UNCCD secretariat in 2015.
