Ahmed Aziz is a Senior Programs Officer for Partnerships for Forests managing and providing programmatic and strategic direction to project portfolios in cocoa, oil palm and timber.
Aziz has been working with Palladium on its UKAID Partnerships for forests program aimed at catalysing investments for sustainable land management and scaling bankable models.

As a result-oriented individual, Aziz has helped to develop and design innovative private, public sector projects with long term sustainable goals for forest protection; private capital mobilisation aimed at creating shared value for landscape actors.

Aziz possesses a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Ghana and a master’s degree in Sustainable International Agriculture from the University of Goettingen, Germany specialising in International Agribusiness and Rural Development Economics. Aziz has worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant with renowned professors in both Goettingen and University of Ghana and has valuable experience in topics related to Natural Resource Economics, Payment for Ecosystem Services, Landscape Governance and Forest Protection mechanisms, Conservation and Precision Agriculture, International Trade and Rural development.
