Wilfred Babanga is Program Manager for ZOA Uganda in West Nile, overseeing land, food security and livelihood projects in a region with a large refugee population. He has worked in the Acholi region of Uganda in a land rights and economic development pilot project, later with United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in Uganda as Customary Land Cluster Coordinator. Between 2018 and 2020, he chaired the Land Sector Development Partners Working Group in Uganda and is currently a member of the Law Review Working Group, appointed by Uganda’s Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, responsible for Land Tenure Reform.
