Alice Mwangi is the founder of Hillside Organic Garden Kabete, a quarter-acre home garden on the outskirts of Nairobi. She is a trainer and consultant on ecological urban and kitchen gardens in various places in Kenya. Alice uses her garden for the family kitchen supplies, sales of excess, research, demonstration, inspiration and training on different ecological and regenerative agriculture techniques that the trainees in their own spaces can apply to produce healthy and organic food for their families. Alice held a bachelor’s degree in Range Management (Univ. of Nairobi) and a Master in Human Ecology (Universiteit Brussels – VUB) in 2006.
