Alfredo Mamani Salinas holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional San Antonio Abad de Cusco. He holds a Master of Science degree in Environment and Energy from the University of Calgary, Canada, as well as a PhD in Environment and Sustainable Development from the Federico Villarreal University.
He has extensive professional experience in the public and private sector, nationally and internationally.
He has served as executive president of the ALT- Autoridad Binacional del Sistema Hídrico TDPS in Bolivia, and as environmental supervisor of the Organismo de Evaluación y Fiscalización Ambiental (OEFA), an entity attached to the Minam.
In addition, he has been Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at Maple Ethanol in Peru, and has also worked as environmental coordinator at Bureau Veritas assigned to the Camisea Project. He has also worked in Petroperu in the areas of refining, planning and lubricants plant.
Internationally, he has worked in Canada as an environmental specialist and consultant for companies in the oil, gas and energy sector.
