Mr. Lu Wenming was born on December 28, 1963. Before he serves as the Deputy Director General of the International Bamboo and Rattan Organisation (INBAR), he was a professor on forestry policy and economics, and also the Director of the Division of International Cooperation of the Chinese Academy of Forestry. As the pioneer of forest certification in China, he provides quite a lot of technical support to the China Forest Certification Scheme, including scheme design, standard development, technical and policy researches, and endorsement process by PEFC. He is the Deputy Secretary General of the China Forest Certification Council.
