Henrietta Asiedu is the Senior Communications, External Relations and Knowledge Associate for the UK Aid funded Partnerships for Forests Program in West and Centra Africa. As a communications and knowledge expert with over 12years experience in communications strategy development and implementation, she is passionate about sustainable development with a focus on forests, environment and water. She has extensive knowledge in stakeholder mapping and engagement, reputational risk and implemented successful business models in sustainable forests and land use to unlock investments for the private sector and improve livelihoods of smallholders. Having worked on several donor funded projects through public -private partnerships on natural resource management, payment for ecosystems services and biodiversity related projects on landscape governance, smallholder financing, agroforestry, farmer professionalization and community forest enterprises with International organisations, governments, non-governmental organisations, and local communities, she believes that the creative use of communication tools in getting brands closer to their target audience is critical to every organization.
