Hendrik Segah is the Associate Professor from Forestry Department, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Palangka Raya (UPR) in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan – Indonesia. From 2022, as the Director of the Center for Development of Science, Technology and Peatland Innovation, University of Palangka Raya in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Currently, he coordinates the Green Growth Program as the Central and South Kalimantan Representative of the GGGI Country Team in Indonesia for low carbon development planning. Hendrik holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Resources (Forestry & Remote Sensing) from Hokkaido University, Japan and undertook additional advanced training on Conservation of Biodiversity from Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, in 2007.
