Ernesto Paredes is the founder and Director of Tacuzcalco Fundation in El Salvador, Latin America. His restoration career started at his early 16 years, and he continues engaging local rural and urban communities in environmental and restoration activities. He is also the GLFx Plan de Amayo coordinator and combines his roles with a strong activitism for social and climate justice in the Plan de Amayo region. Ernesto holds a master’s degree in sustainable local development, graduated from the University of El Salvador, and has extensive experience in knowledge management and community engagement processes. He is also a professor of social sciences.
