Despite the investment of this corn farmer from northern Nigeria to grow his food in the 2018 cropping season, the yield potential is not certain as the crop medium of growth is subjected to erosion. As this happens, the topmost soil nutrition is removed by the action of running water confirming uncertainties in what the farmer may harvest. Concerted efforts by stakeholders including the farmers need to be in place in mapping out land use activities.
