These palm trees are growing right at the center of a river! I sighted this Wonderful act of nature in January, when the water level was relatively low. As at then, about one fourth of the tree was buried in water. Now, the peak of the raining season, I can see the palm leaves touching the water! I keep wondering how the seed germinated and survived to become this tall, and how many years ago did it all started. Location: 'Idekpa' town, a typical 'Idoma' tribe settlement.
