A leaftale gekko discovered in the Marojejy Nationalpark in Northeastern Madagascar. The Nationalpark is one of only few left landscapes where species diversity is relatively undisturbed. The park is known for the density of lemur species and the leaf tale gekkos. Hardly seen due to their capability of camouflage with their surrounding, this gekko is a specialist of survival in a country where deforestation and land degradation and conversion is seen everywhere.
