Peter Riggs is the Director of the U.S. nonprofit Pivot Point. He is the co-coordinator of the international network CLARA — Climate Land Ambition and Rights Alliance, which works on climate change and land use issues. Prior to founding Pivot Point, Riggs was Program Officer for the Ford Foundation, Program Officer at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and director of the Forum on Democracy & Trade. He also spent time in Japan as a musician and DJ in the 1980s, working for Osaka Yusen Hoso and various Kansai-area clubs and radio concerns. He now lives in Shelton, Washington (USA).
