Voters choose Daniel Torres as winner of GLF Kyoto photo competition

Efforts to tackle climate change are underway everywhere, but they are often unseen or overlooked. We asked people to submit photographs demonstrating some of the actions people and businesses are taking to ensure a better future for the planet. We received more than 250 photo submissions, and more than 11,700 votes.

Thank you to those who contributed to the GLF Kyoto Photo Competition, whether you submitted a picture or voted. It is our pleasure to showcase the winner and the best runners-up as chosen by the public. Congratulations to all.

Out of the top 21 finalist photos, below you will find the top runners-up, which we think offer inspiration and hope for environmental action.
