Dr Tasila Banda is the National Project Coordinator for the Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Project (ZIFLP), which seeks to promote reduced Greenhouse Gas Emissions from the Land Sector and improve rural livelihoods in targeted communities in Eastern Province by equipping them with tools and skills to respond promptly and effectively to present and future climate change challenges. She is passionate about translating national climate change and low-carbon development ambitions into specific implementation strategies and activities on the ground, while liaising with local, national and international development partners on opportunities that establish and nurture partnerships which enhance synergies for effective programs implementation.
