Frank Pichel is the co-founder and Chief Programs Officer at Cadasta Foundation where he manages the organizations projects and partners. A land administration specialist by training, Mr. Pichel has proven experience designing, managing and implementing land governance projects around the globe. Having worked for International Land Systems (ILS), Inc. for a decade as both a home office and field-based project manager, Mr. Pichel has broad experience in the core activities of an organization focused on land administration, including business development, proposal preparation, and the design, configuration, and implementation of land information systems.

While focused on aspects relating to the use of technology to improve tenure security and land governance, he also provided support to US government agencies on land administration issues, including in relation to US global land commitments such as the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries, and Forests. Mr. Pichel designed and managed what became the Mobile Application to Secure Tenure, MAST, before leaving to help launch the Cadasta Foundation.
