Pablo Peña is an environmental lawyer by training and holds a master’s in environmental management from Yale University. He has worked at the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law, and has been Director of Strategic Affair at SENACE, Peru’s Environmental Licensing Agency. He is senior public policy officer at the Global Green Growth Institute and professor of environmental law at Pontificia Universidad Católica (PUC) del Peru. He is joining University of Oxford’s Centre for Socio-Legal Studies for his doctoral program, conducting empirical research on the role of law in deforestation.
