Eduardo Zegarra is an economist from thePontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, with a PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a specialist in agricultural policies, land markets and water management. Teaching activities in the Master of Water Resources at the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (Water Economics). From January 2001 to February 2004 he was Director General of Agricultural Information of the Ministry of Agriculture in Peru, where he is now head of the Cabinet of Advisors. Since 2004 he has been Principal Researcher of the Group of Analysis for Development (GRADE).
