The event officially begins on 21 September and lasts until 23 September.

The conference is free for participants from Latin America and the Caribbean. For other participants, the ticket price is 10-15 Euros. If you wish to support participants who could otherwise not afford to participate, you can also buy a solidarity ticket for 50 Euro.

Inclusiveness is fundamental to the Global Landscapes Forum, we are therefore offering free tickets to those who qualify and cannot afford the ticket price. Apply for a free ticket here.

As this event is a mix of live and pre-recorded sessions, we recommend you have at least 1,5 Mbps. You can check on the status of your own connection by running an internet speed test, which will provide you with a measurement for both download and upload speeds. For the purposes of streaming, you want to pay careful attention to the download speed here, as this is the data you’ll be using.

No. The conference platform will be web-based only. If you’d like to follow the conference on your mobile phone or tablet, you’re in luck – the webpage is responsive to all devices.

You can turn notifications on and off on the Inwink platform by navigating to My Profile > My Information > My Notifications.

Selected sessions will be available on the GLF website at a minimum of two weeks after the conference has ended.

The conference is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Access the agenda on the Inwink platform, click on your preferred language and sessions will automatically have the respective language set for audio.

Inwink’s language follows your computer setting. If you would like to change this, you can select a new language from the top menu bar.

You will need to complete the post-event general participant survey, which will be open shortly after the event, in order to qualify for a certificate of participation. These will be issued as PDFs via your registered email to all who qualify. 

GLF Amazonia will take place as scheduled September 21-23, 2021 as a digital event only. If you choose to host or attend an in-person watch party, you are responsible for following local guidelines.
