Ms. Alekseeva is the Coordinator of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration at UNEP HQ, bringing over two decades of expertise in environmental protection, climate change, and water management. She has held pivotal roles, including Head of UNEP’s Central Asia Office, Water Programme Coordinator for UNDP, and Regional Advisor for GIZ. Globally, she served as Senior Networking Officer at the Global Water Partnership, focusing on transboundary cooperation and water security. She holds a PhD from St. Petersburg State University and advanced degrees from Belarusian State University, Central European University, and the University of Manchester.
