Monique Akullo is the national coordinator for Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN) at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uganda. Monique possesses 16 years of active engagement in environment and natural resources management. Monique has guided strategic planning, policy development and analysis, monitoring and evaluation, coordination, and management at several national endeavors such as the NBSAP. She has contributed to several publications on fiscal policy reforms and mainstreaming in national efforts. Monique is serving as a member of the panel of experts advising on reviewing the cost-benefits of conditional cash transfer programs in managing trees on farms.
