Godfrey Rogers Natwaluma is working with CIFOR-ICRAF, Uganda Country Office. Currently, he is the National Coordinator for the second Phase of IKI- Trees on Farm for Biodiversity (TonF) Project funded by the Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. This is a pilot on Performance Based Contract (PBC) incentive schemes for tree planting and management; this is used as a tool to reward attainment of measurable performance targets and related deliverables.
Godfrey holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Security and Livelihoods Change from the University for Development Studies (UDS); Tamale, Ghana (West Africa); with over 15 years working technical and management experience implementing donor funded projects/programs with several NGOs at grassroot level in Uganda and Ghana.
He is passionate about landscape restoration with focus on farmers integrating the growing of indigenous and multipurpose (MTPS) trees on landscapes to improve the environment and subsequently overall food security and livelihoods.
