Arnold Kipchumba is a climate and environment professional passionate about building resilient and sustainable communities. He has extensive experience coordinating Environment, Natural Resources, and Climate Change programs for the 47 County Governments in Kenya. Arnold has actively engaged in designing, monitoring, and reviewing policies and laws related to Climate Change, Environment, and Natural Resources.
Currently, Arnold serves as the Director of Environment and Climate Action, MaMa Doing Good, an initiative of the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya, where he plays a vital role in advocating for intergenerational and gender equity in climate change responses, promote green growth and low-carbon development, and works to build resilience and adaptive capacity of communities to climate change impacts. Arnold also oversees the implementation of the First Lady’s Landscape and Ecosystem Restoration Programme and the First Lady’s Mazingira Awards.
