Anyone aged 18 or above may submit entries to the awards. We will accept entries from anywhere in the world.
Finalist entries will be featured and shared across GLF platforms and products. After public voting, the most popular entries will be featured at GLF Africa 2024, with the winning entry (1st prize) receiving an award of USD 400.
A panel of judges selected by the GLF will select up to 25 photos from all eligible submissions received during the awards period. Please note that while you may submit more than one entry, we will not select multiple entries from the same person as finalists.
Finalists will be chosen based on the following criteria:
- Creativity (30%)
- Photographic quality (30%)
- Composition (30%)
- Execution of theme (10%)
In Mid August, the finalist photos will be published on the GLF’s website and all social media channels, and the public will be invited to vote for their favorite photos.
The submission that receives the most votes during the voting period will be deemed the popular vote winner, subject to verification and compliance with these official rules. The winner will be announced on the GLF website and social media channels in mid September. All finalists will have their images featured on all GLF platforms.
