Young indigenous activist from the Paiter Suruí People in the state of Rondônia, Brazil and a law student. Walelasoetxeige, founder of the Indigenous Youth Movement of Rondônia, works in the legal core of the Kanindé Ethno-environmental Defense Association, protecting the human rights of Indigenous Peoples and their lands, as well as supplying legal guidance to their organizations. She seeks legal improvement and partners in the fight for the human rights of Indigenous Peoples.
