Stephanie Sargeant is a youth leader at Act4Food Act4Change, a master’s student in International Development Studies, specializing in Politics and Governance, and the sidetrack ‘Sustainable Development Diplomacy.’ During her master’s, she worked as a student assistant for the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS). Stephanie has recently started an internship at Wetlands International, focusing on climate advocacy. Growing up in Kenya, she has been involved in small-scale food projects for local communities, and while working for CCAFS and Act4Food Act4Change, large-scale projects such as Food System Summit Dialogues and COP26. She is passionate about improving livelihoods, protecting the natural environment, and sustainable growth within Africa.
