Shaik Imran Hussain Choudhary is the founder of Prakheti Agrologics, an agroecology startup in India dedicated to promoting agrobiodiversity, sustainable farming and land restoration. As part of YPARD’s policy working group, the Youth Food Lab Steering Committee, and a YOUNGO consultant to FAO, Imran combines grassroots experience with global advocacy.
His journey began with volunteering on farms and research institutes in South India to address rural agricultural challenges. Today, Prakheti Agrologics supports over 5,000 farmers in Kerala, India by fostering transitions to agroecological practices, enhancing soil health and increasing incomes through innovative market solutions.
