Rahmiana Rahman

Rahmiana Rahmanhas been engaged in volunteer work since her university years. In 2012, she founded a social community supporting marginalized children in South Sulawesi—an initiative that continues to this day.Since 2017, Rahmiana, affectionately known as Ami, has been based in Aceh, western Indonesia. She co-founded Rumah Relawan Remaja, a grassroots organization that hosts GLFx Aceh. Through this work, Ami regularly travels to remote villages across Aceh to encourage youth participation in peace education and environmental conservation. She is also deeply engaged in community libraries, where her efforts extend beyond basic literacy to nurturing environmental awareness and a culture of care within local communities.
