Nancy Rapando is the WWF Leader for Africa’s Food Future Initiative! Nancy is a sustainable agriculture specialist with broad experience in Africa in program management, policy analysis, and technical advisory work. She has worked with diverse actors across East, Central and Southern Africa on agriculture value chains, natural resource management, climate change, and food and nutrition security. Nancy holds an M.Sc. in Agronomy from Egerton University (focused on ecological food systems) and now pursuing her Ph.D. in Climate Change and Adaptation from the Institute of Climate Change and Adaptation at the University of Nairobi. Nancy is passionate about nature-positive agriculture that allows farms and communities to become resilient to climate change while reducing negative impacts on biodiversity.
