Monique Akullo

Akullo Monique is the Senior Internal Monitoring and Evaluation officer at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA-Uganda). Before this, she was a Project Management Officer for the Global initiative – Biodiversity Finance Initiative – BIOFIN in Uganda. She has experience in the application of economic tools for conservation and infrastructure planning, integrated biodiversity and ecosystem management, development of NDC – MRV tools, access and benefit-sharing, natural resource management and governance, natural capital accounting principles, biodiversity offset principles, gender mainstreaming among others. Currently, she stands-in as a project manager for the mapping nature for people and planet project supported by GEF/UNDP.
