Lucas Mazzei is a researcher at Embrapa Amazônia Oriental, since 2010, he is a Forestry Engineer graduated from the University of Brasília (UnB), with a master’s degree in Forest Science from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) and a doctorate from École Nationale du Génie Rural, des Eaux et des Forêt (Montpellier, France). He has experience in Forest Management and Payments for Environmental Services, with an emphasis on modeling forest dynamics. Lucas participates in several Committees of Commissions standing for Embrapa Amazônia Oriental, collaborating with teaching, taking part and coordinating RD&I projects, on the theme related to the sustainability of forest management in the Amazon.
