Lorenna Montenegro

Lorenna Montenegro Movie critic, screenwriter, curator, cultural journalist, and content producer, with over 18 years of experience in the field. She is part of the Elviras Collective of women film critics (Coletivo Elviras de mulheres críticas de cinema, in Portuguese) and the Brazilian Association of Film Critics (Associação Brasileira de Críticos de Cinema, in Portuguese). Filmworks Professor at the International Film Academy; teaches workshops and courses on criticism, history and aesthetics of cinema/video, female representation on screen, her area of expertise, as well as taking part as a jury, curator and speaker at Mostra Nacional Sesc, Varilux Festival, Brasilia Festival of Brazilian Cinema, Gramado Film Festival and Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival. Lorenna also coordinates the festival As Amazonas do Cinema.
