Harald previously headed the Competence Center on Biodiversity, Forests and Natural Resources within the GIZ Division of Environment and Climate Change. Prior to that, Lossack coordinated the GIZ-supported Pilot Program for the Conservation of Tropical Rainforests in Brazil. He has degrees in Development Sociology and Political Science from the Free University of Berlin.
