Gustavo Sánchez Valle is the President of the Red Mexicana de Organizaciones Forestales Campesinas (Red MOCAF) which promotes community forestry and supports Indigenous and farmers organizations that own lands in Mexico.
Gustavo has been General Director of the Forestry Commission of the Michoacán State (COFOM) and civil society observer for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Forest Carbon Partnership Fund (FCPF) and is currently member of the Advisory Committee of the International Land and Forest Tenure Fund, of the Executive Council of the Measoamerican Alliance of Peoples and Forests, Civil Society representative to the UNREDD Board and member of the RRI Board.
