Elena Xochitl Ramírez Reivich is an agronomist from the Metropolitan Autonomous University and holds a Master’s degree in Administration from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico. She has over forty years of experience in sustainable territorial development, participating in and leading agricultural and environmental projects in communities and ejidos (communal landholdings). She has held various positions in the Federal Public Administration, the National Commission

for the Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, and the Ministry of Social Development. She has been responsible for inter-institutional relations, securing national and international funding, and coordinating territorial development projects.
