Simon W. Moolenaar

Simon is head of Science and Education at Commonland and guest Lecturer on Business & Ecosystems at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM). He is an expert in sustainable soil and land management and has been working on environmental and sustainability themes in various roles: as researcher, strategic consultant, project manager, process manager and programme manager. Simon serves as chair of the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP), European Chapter (focussing on monetization of natural capital) and as vice-chair of the IUCN thematic group on Business & Ecosystem Management (focussing on sustainable business models, value chains and multiple stakeholder partnerships).
