Ayshka Najib

Ayshka Najib is a climate justice activist based in the UAE. She is one of the co-founders of Friday’s For Future MAPA strengthening the participation of the frontline communities. Her expertise lies in the intersections of gender and climate and this is reflected in her work with UN Women and the Women and Gender Constituency. She is also the campaign coordinator and just transition lead at the People’s Climate Diplomacy Program. She is the MENA Regional Lead at the Youth Climate Justice Fund supporting participatory grant making and advancing flexible and sustainable funding to youth movements in the region.
