Alice Reisfeld

Programme Manager
SAVE Brasil - BirdLife Partner in Brazil

“I started my career in 2009 working with ex situ conservation at an aquarium and a zoo after graduating from the University of São Paulo, where I studied Environmental Management. In 2013, I started working at SAVE Brasil where I now manage the species programme, which include conservation projects for 2 of the world’s most threatened bird species: the Blue-eyed Ground-dove and the Alagoas antwren. I am also leading our Forests Programme, which works with a priority forest landscape in the Atlantic Forest of Northeastern Brazil. As an alumni of the Conservation Leadership Programme and a participant of the BirdLife Accelerator programme, I know that the future of forest comes from our ability to innovate and diversify what we do to secure the sustainability of our landscape, people and biodiversity.”
