The talk will feature an initiative to bring to bring together the governance of forests and water in a case where there has been a gap at the community level. Bringing together users of forests and water in a participatory planning process contributes to setting resource management and restoration priorities. It also creates buy-in from the community, who are the beneficiaries of the resources, and in doing so, they are able to set and work towards landscape restoration.
